Resources :: Description :: Education Resources Information Center (ERIC)

ERIC, sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, provides access to more than 1.3 million bibliographic records of journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education-related materials from 1966 to present. If available, links to full text are included. It consists of two files: the Resources in Education (RIE) file of non-journal document citations and the Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE) file of journal article citations from over 600 professional journals. ERIC users include education researchers, teachers, librarians, administrators, education policymakers, instructors and students in teacher-preparation programs, school psychologists, and counselors.
