The book club selections for Spring semester 2020 were pitched and selected by the members of the club:

February 4, 12-1 pm: There There by Tommy Orange

March 3, 12-1 pm: Doomsday Book by Connie Willis

Pitch:
Mid-21st century Oxford University researchers invent a time travel machine to conduct observational fieldwork of various past time periods and significant events. The book covers many genres, including sci-fi, historical fiction, suspense, humor, and romance.

April 7, 12-1 pm: The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides - Postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pitch:
The Silent Patient is a psychological thriller with shocking twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It has been referred to as a mix of Hitchcockian suspense, Agatha Christie plotting, and Greek tragedy.
