Baby books are intended for children from birth to age 2. A good baby book has a simple design, bright illustrations, durable construction, rounded corners for safety, and is fashioned from material that is non-toxic and can be cleaned. Baby books have little, if any text, and are intended to emphasize patterns, and promote dialog and communication between the child and the person sharing the book.
