This blended academic year in residence (BAYR) course provides an overview of consultation and supervision, including the core competences of effective clinical supervision; approaches and models for its implementation; and ethical and professional aspects of training, including the integration of multicultural and diversity awareness. Emphasis is placed on gaining empirical knowledge and practical skills needed to practice consultation and supervision in both in-person and virtual (telehealth) modalities. The course includes an in-person residency during which supervision and consultation concepts are explored and applied.
