This project serves as an online resource for samples and research on endangered languages as well as a forum for advice and best practices for those working to strengthen linguistic diversity.

University of New Mexico has collected a list of indigenous language apps, organized by language, for North American and Aboriginal groups, including what tribes use this language and what mobile platforms are compatible with the app.

The concept of this volume is that the paradigm of European national languages (official orthography; language standardization; full use of language in most everyday contexts) is imposed in cookie-cutter fashion on most language revitalization efforts of Native American languages. While this model fits the sovereign status of many Native American groups, it does not meet the linguistic ideology of Native American communities, and creates projects and products that do not engage the communities which they are intended to serve. Instead, this volume proposes a model of Native American language revitalization that is different from the national/official language model, one that respects and incorporates language variation, and entertains variable outcomes.

In addition to the Arapaho Lessons and Dictionary, this website also features a Pronunciation Guide, examples of the language being used for everyday life, scanned bilingual curriculum materials and other resources helpful in learning this language."
