If the Library is closed when you call, text or email us, we will reply on the next day we are open.
The physical library is located in Main Building Room 170. Please see the full Library Calendar for current hours, but you may also want to call before visiting us as they are subject to change.
Our online library is open 24/7, making it possible for you to do your research from anywhere, anytime. When you are working from off-campus, you will need your Cincinnati State College ID number to access most resources. If you are not sure what your 7 digit number is, you can find it on your registration statement (Blackboard>MyServices), or in the Blackboard app under "View Profile".
Done with your research, but need help with the written part? Visit the Writing Center website for drop-in hours (located in Main 235), directions on making an appointment in Starfish, & more help!
The Writing Center provides free tutorial support to students whose coursework includes written assignments. The Writing Center, housed on the Clifton campus, enables all students to explore new ideas through writing and achieve success. The support extends across all curriculums, and is not limited to support for writing or English Composition classes.
You can also visit the Writing Center's YouTube Channel to learn how to write the different parts of your paper (intro, body, conclusion), improve your sentence structure, make a rhetorical appeal, cite your sources in MLA format, & more.
