OhioLINK: Things to Know

As a Cincinnati State student, you have borrowing privileges at over 90 other Ohio academic libraries & many Ohio public libraries, via OhioLINK.

  • Cincinnati State students are limited to five requests per day or five items on hold in their account at one time, while faculty may request up to ten items per day.
  • The fine for overdue OhioLINK materials is $.50 per day per item.
  • A replacement fee of at least $125 is charged for lost/destroyed/non-returned materials. This will be billed when the item is 30 days overdue.

Connecting to OhioLINK

Step 1: Click on the item's title to open the item record.


Step 2: Click the OhioLINK button at the right side of the page.

This will let you search across all of the OhioLINK libraries for that exact title.


Step 3: Look at the "Holdings" for the libraries listed. As long as one library has the item "Available", you may request if for delivery using the green "Request" button.

Tip: Directions for delivery options are in the menu tabs at the left. Most Cincinnati State users will need the first option, delivering to Cincinnati State.
