OhioLINK: Things to Know

As a Cincinnati State student, you have borrowing privileges at over 90 other Ohio academic libraries & many Ohio public libraries, via OhioLINK.

  • Cincinnati State students are limited to five requests per day or five items on hold in their account at one time, while faculty may request up to ten items per day.
  • The fine for overdue OhioLINK materials is $.50 per day per item.
  • A replacement fee of at least $125 is charged for lost/destroyed/non-returned materials. This will be billed when the item is 30 days overdue.

Connecting to OhioLINK

Step 1: Click on the magnifying glass and Select "OhioLINK" as the Primo VE search scope.

Step 2: Enter your search term or title.


Step 3: Select the desired result.

 

Step 4: Within a result you can view a list of institutions that have the item available under the How to Get It section.

Step 5: navigate to the "Get it from other locations" section

  • Click the "get it" button
  • Submit the form

Note: The default form fields will have the item delivered to Cincinnati State's Berry Library in the Main building of the Clifton campus. To select another pickup location, select it from the drop down and click "refine offer."
