This guide provides informational and directional resources that may be of use during the hurricane season in the US, primarily Florida-focused.

The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane season officially runs from Thursday, June 1, 2023 through Thursday, November 30, 2023, when the most tropical cyclones form in the Atlantic Basin.

This guide contains resources to help keep you informed and provide best practices in the event that we face exceptional inclement weather situations during this time.


In a crisis situation, Keiser University utilizes several different ways to communicate important information and updates, as outlined below:

In the event of a campus emergency, Keiser University uses the Omnilert System to notify students, faculty, and staff via phone calls, text messages, and emails.

Students: If you have recently updated you home or mobile phone numbers, you will need to notify your campus registrar immediately.

Faculty and Staff: If you have recently updated your home or mobile phone numbers, you will need to visit: the UKG Pro system at:  https://e44.ultipro.com/Login.aspx to update your contact information.  For additional assistance, employees may also reach out via email to HR@keiseruniversity.edu.

In a crisis, audio messages will also be posted on the Keiser Emergency Information Hotline:
