After creating your introduction announcement you'll want to fill in the "Course Information" section of your course.  This section is for you to relay any pertinent information to your students related to the course as a whole.

Make sure to include:

  • Course Syllabus
  • Instructor Information
  • Course Tour or "How to get started" in the course
  • Any technical requirements for computer software or specialty tools
  • Helpful resources for students to use

Course Syllabus:  Copy over your course syllabus or include a copy of your WIDS course syllabus

Instructor Information: Similar to your first announcement, you'll want to include your name, contact information, office hours, and any other information you'd like your students to know about you.

Technically Requirements: Include a link to Northwood Tech Technology Requirements and explain any other necessary software, hardware, or tools needed for the course

Help Resources: Include links to Student Resources such as the Academic Support Center, Library, Learning Technology Center, Math and Writing Labs, or any helpful organizations related to the course content.  It is also a good idea to include a link to MyHelp for students to submit any needed HelpDesk tickets.
