Databases
The following list of databases provide IU researchers (like you) access to thousands of peer-reviewed resources. At the top of the list is OneSearch@IU. It searches across databases and is a good starting point if you are having trouble deciding on search terms. JSTOR, below it, has become one of the most widely used academic resources in research and is a good next step. Each of these databases has its own unique tools for searching.
Use "quotation marks" to search for exact phrases, this can be especially useful when a search returns too many results.

Provides full text access and indexing for e-journals and e-books from a variety of scholarly publishers. Covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others.
