Course Reserves: Things to Know
The Library does not have a copy of EVERY required textbook, but it does keep textbooks "on reserve" for over 150 courses each year. In order to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to borrow these, the following conditions apply:
- You must have your Surge card to borrow Course Reserves (& all Library items)
- Most Course Reserves may only be used inside the Library.
- Checkout time is typically limited to 2 hours.
- Fines begin to accrue hourly, as soon as the item is overdue.
- The Library has 2 photocopiers that may be used to copy or scan small portions of the textbook. Cost & usage information can be found in the Library's Frequently Asked Questions.
