Renewing Tips!

You'll need to know your 7 digit College ID to check your Library account for upcoming due dates & to renew your books online. In most cases, you'll get an email letting you know your book is coming due; however, these are just courtesy notices & it is always your responsibility to stay aware of upcoming due dates (not receiving an email does not negate overdue fines). Other things you should know include:

  • Books may only be renewed a maximum of six (6) times.
  • If another user has requested that item by placing a "Hold" on it, your renew request will be denied.
  • If you renew a book after it is already overdue, you will still be responsible for the fines accrued between the original due date & the renewal.
  • Fiction movies & items on reserve are not eligible for renewal.
  • If you have problems processing your renewal, call the Library at 513.569.1606 for assistance.

Renewing Books

Step 1: Click the "Renew" link.


Step 2: Type your name & 7 digit College ID, then click the "Submit" button.


Step 3: Check the box next to each item you want to renew, then click "Renew Marked".
 


Step 4: Confirm your renewal request by clicking "Yes".


Step 5: Check the confirmation page carefully to see if all of the items were successfully renewed & to note new due dates. If not all items were successfully renewed, you will see the reason with the item that was denied.
