Things to Know: Using SearchOhio

You may also search across almost all of the public libraries in Ohio to see if an item is available for delivery by using SearchOhio. It is recommended to only use SearchOhio when an item is not "Available" in OhioLINK

• SearchOhio only searches the public libraries.
• It is best used for finding popular fiction books & videos, popular non-fiction books, & other source types that are not customarily purchased by academic libraries.
• Loan periods may shorter than when borrowing items from OhioLINK.
• You may only have the item(s) delivered to your home library.

Step 1: Click the "SearchOhio" button when the item you want is not "Available" from an OhioLINK library.

Step 2: Click the "Request Item" button if any of the libraries listed in the item record say it is "Available".

Step 3: Follow the same OhioLINK steps to submit your request (dependent on your delivery preference).
