Creating records

There are two ways to create a new record in MARC Editor:

  1. From a template (workform) - A workform helps you index customized versions of the standard record types such as daily, speech, or voting documents. Default fields and subfields are displayed automatically based on the type of record. 
  2. By copying (cloning) an existing record - Cloning allows you to quickly create a new record based on an existing record with similar fields.
